Job Description

One of our client is looking for Cinema Manager for Across India.


Job Discription:

Note: Candidate should be open for relocation.

Positions are based in South India, Punjab, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh.

1. Responsible for Overall Cinema Operations of the multiplex.
2. Take Care of the Business Strategy of the cinemas, Marketing Schemes, Operational Revenues, Cost Optimization, etc.
3. Competition Analysis: Will be doing the area mapping & doing competition analysis and making plans for better output.
4. Supervise the day-to-day task assignment and manage performance of Unit Heads. This includes recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, managing performance, and administering progressive discipline.
5. Assist in Making Budgets & setting Targets for the respective cinemas and at the same time
working on ACTION PLAN to achieve the Target.
6. Develop a culture of actively seeking follow-ups from Unit Heads on a regular basis to know the
day to day issues and get them resolved.
7. Review and communicate financial information to assist in proactive and timely decision making.
8. Strategy and Policy development: for instance develop and implement short and long term
operations plans that will maximize revenue, minimize costs, increase profitability and enhance
employee effectiveness at all cinema circuits within the area of responsibilities.
9. Budget Preparation and Consultation: Help Unit Heads understand and prepare the business
forecasting for his/her work area.
10. To monitor, through Auditing, to ensure that the quality of work undertaken by operational staff
is of the standard required and liaise with Unit Heads to develop remedial training &
development plans where necessary and also analyse results and trends from audits (internal &
external) and take appropriate actions to resolve/address issues.
11. Auditing of a particular cinema on a quarterly basis, including outstation cinemas. Determine
the accuracy of the reports, registers and checklists of the cinemas. Detect and recommend
correction of errors.
12. Assist the management in the recruitment of new members of staff as necessary, to support the
recruitment and selection employees to the agreed staffing levels using cost effective
recruitment methods.
13. Ensure a pleasant Movie viewing experience for all patrons. Respond to customer complaints,
requests, inquiries and feedbacks, both verbal and written are responded to promptly and
efficiently.
14. To ensure all staff are well briefed on their responsibilities and are given constant supervision
and motivation on all aspects of their work
15. Support the delivery of all key training with the T&D department, identifying training needs and
capability gaps within the team
16. Identify maintenance activity required in order to uphold the required standard and forward
these to the respective department.
17. Responsible for obtaining designated competitors data, accurately entering this information within the required time frame and updating data when required and develop marketing plan to achieve sales target and increase the brand visibility.
